Big Binary

When Raj at Big Binary heard we needed some support last month, he was quick to offer it. Big Binary is a Miami-based Rails development shop which does rich web and mobile work alongside their work with Ruby on Rails.

We want to thank Big Binary and Raj for their help and for being so patient with us in getting their logo and this shoutout up on our site.

Calling all South Florida Ruby and Rails developers

- - posted in coaches, miami beach, rubyconf, workshop

We just wanted to put the word out that we are looking for coaches for our workshop ahead of RubyConf 2013 in November (most likely the 6th or 7th).

If you’re a Ruby developer who feels confident enough to teach some beginners how to build the Ideas app (maybe with a few embellishments), then you’re welcome to send us a short (or long) email expressing your interest.

Help spread the word

So we’ve got our organizers, and we already have a few coaches, so now’s the time to start spreading the word around South Florida that there will be a workshop in early November. Our working date for the event is Wednesday, November 6th.

What is the workshop about?

RubyConf 2013 is coming to Miami Beach in November. It’s about time South Florida had a Rails Girls workshop.

Our aim is to give tools and a community for women to understand technology and to build their ideas. We do this by providing a great experience on building things and by making technology more approachable.
